The Luggie Super shares a lot of similar features with its little brother the Elite. But this model offers a more heavy-duty option that has been upgraded to allow an increase in its carrying capacity without compromising on performance.
Enjoy a much larger padded seat and adjustable flip-up armrests that allow you to easily get in and out of your mobility scooter. There is also the option of adjusting your seat at two different heights. Once you have found the ideal height lock your chair into position. Another customisable feature of this model is the ability to adjust the height and angle of the tiller. This enables you to adjust the tiller below the height of your desk and drive right up to your computer screen without having to get up and move to another chair. All these additions make the Luggie Super much more comfortable and ergonomic.
If you plan to travel overseas with this scooter, you will be happy to know that its lithium batteries are certified plane safe. It is also TSA (Transportation Security Administration) approved so you won't get any last-minute shocks as you try to board your aircraft. Because the Super can fold in half or flat, you can choose which combination best suits your situation. When travelling by plane, we recommend that you fold it into the flat position. All you need to do is remove the battery, fold your Luggie into the flat position and give it to the flight attendant to store away. You are now ready to enjoy your holiday!
Because this model has been built with a higher capacity weight in mind, the team at Luggie has made the base wider to allow for increased legroom. They also added a more powerful 150W motor that will enable your scooter to still perform at a high level. The 24V/10.5ah battery enables this model to travel at a maximum speed of 6.4km per hour and to a distance range of 12-17km on one battery charge. And a 5 amp charger also comes standard which enables faster charging.
If you plan to drive your mobility scooter on inclines and hills, it is recommended not to surpass a slope of greater than 6 degrees. Anti-tip wheels have been installed at the rear of the gopher, adding an extra safeguard that helps provide stability when tackling trickier surfaces.
The front wheels of the Luggie Super have been positioned closer together to resemble the wheelbase of a three-wheeled scooter. This gives you more control when navigating in tighter areas that require a sharper turning circle whether it be in supermarkets, restaurants or busy city streets. It is this exceptional flexibility sets this scooter apart from many other four-wheelers on the market.
Who does this scooter suit?
The Luggie Super is the ideal choice for you if you require a higher weight capacity mobility scooter that is easy to fold and transport.
